Project 3:
CREATIVITY TUTORING TOOL FOR ADULTS

CREATIVITY TUTORING TOOL

I wanted to use this project as a means to bring all of the core skills that I developed throughout the course together. I used this opportunity to try and develop a unique functional design. I used Adobe XD and Google's Material Design Kit.

Low-fidelity wireframes

I used this opportunity to try and deliver my clearest low-fidelity wireframes yet. It was very intuitive to use the many tools in Adobe XD. I found the core of my design in this phase of development.

High-fidelity mockups(bottom-up design)

When I translated this application to desktops and tablets, I wanted to use the opportunity to take the original design, which looks more cluttered on a mobile phone, and make it look more minimalist and organized.

The finished design

I ended up making the design hierarchical in order to display the tutoring material in a clear and concise way. I broke the tutoring material up into small, page-by-page sections and used simple vocabulary to improve the general user experience.  I used a simple color palette of white and light blue with black text to display organization and keep a level tone throughout the application.
