Project 2:
ACCOUNT CREATION FLOW FOR AN ONLINE FORUM

LOOKING GLASS LITERATURE FORUM ACCOUNT CREATION FLOW

My account creation flow was heavily inspired by my experience on online forums when I was younger. I drew upon my knowledge of common design philosophies for the common user flow and emulated it to the best of my ability. I used this design to improve my visual design skills. I used Google's Material Design kit.

Low-fidelity wireframes

As my second attempt at low-fidelity designs, I tried to improve the clarity of my wireframes. I tried to make everything look as organized and natural as possible.

High-fidelity mockups(mobile version)

I tried my best to bring the desktop version to life on a mobile device. It functioned very similarly to the desktop user flow, however, it used elements like highlighted icons to indicate task completion.

The finished design

This project was my attempt at prioritizing visual appeal as much as possible. I wanted the application to look almost like an open book. I chose softer tones  to make the design easier to look at.
